The St. Thomas Truck Nationals, launched in 2003 by the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation , is a grass roots truck show and drag race, organized to raise funds for the local hospital and to underline the importance of the trucking industry to the area economy and to the community as a whole.

The show will be held August 14 - 15, 2010 at the St. Thomas Dragway in Sparta, Ontario and will feature over 100 big rigs. Highlights of the weekend will include:

show and shine up-close look at some of the most impressive trucks in the area exhibition class racing of big trucks down the quarter mile display and parade of vintage and heritage trucks dragway race program shuttlebus to downtown Sparta Shops and Port Stanley (and back) family fun (face painting and other fun activities for children) corn roast truck industry vendors truck driving recruiters from the major companies awards presentation with big trophies
